It has just been announced by EA that the long-awaited Battlefield Mobile will begin a limited region BETA playtest in Indonesia and the Philippines this fall. This is only a small testing, with promises of new regions to be added in the future. Pre-registration is not yet available. However, EA has stated that once they are ready to broaden the BETA test, they will release a pre-registration form that will notify you when the game is going to be available in new regions. Those who are first to respond will be allowed early access to the playtesting for their region. These spots are likely to fill up quickly, so unfortunately only a limited number of players will be able to participate. Testing will be only available only on Android and will require at least Android 7.0 in order to function properly, though the full game will eventually be available to all on the App Store and Google Play sometime in 2022.
The current playtest that has been announced features the Grand Bazaar map only and only one mode, Conquest. The game will have its own Battle Passes, cosmetic items, and unlockable items. This is not representative of what the actual game will look like, but we expect to be given more updates as the actual launch for the game gets closer. The official game will have no cross-play option. The new mobile version will be entirely separate from the console and PC versions of Battlefield.

DICE is teaming up with Industrial Toys for game development, who have also worked to develop Midnight Star: Renegade. The full game, as expected, will be a multiplayer all-out-war shooter game with a large scale battle and arsenal, and many different game modes. It will be free to download and play with in-app purchases available.
