Inspired by the book series of the same title by Andrzej Sapkowski, the video games occur after the books and follow the story of Geralt of Rivia who is the main character in The Witcher series. To become a Witcher individuals must undergo intensive training to become experienced monster slayers. Witchers also have super senses and abilities such as weapon mastery and magical spells that make them specialized trackers and hunters. Now, players will be able to embark on their own journey and master their skills, but in the Witcher timeline long before Geralt of Rivia and the book series. Players can travel on the go to make potions, build bombs, and hopefully hunt down life-size AR draconids, vampires, cursed ones, and more monsters from the franchise.
The game is now available for registration on Android devices, and it will be coming to iOS devices later this year. To register for the soft-launch version, check out The Witcher: Monster Slayer website.
