Season has had its world premiere at The 2020 Game Awards today. The second game from Scavengers Studios immerses players in a beautiful world full of expansive landscapes. The trailer shows how players will control a woman leaving her secluded hometown. Armed with only her bike, she will explore the mysterious environment for the first time. Players will document, record and draw the disappearing cultures found within this new world. Season will take players on a dream-like journey as they explore the world around them.

In a press release sent to us, writer and creative director Kevin Sullivan expressed his eagerness to present Season.
“We’re dizzily excited to share the world of Season with the world of the real world. Just as the character in the game makes a cultural collection, the game itself has been that for us. It has absorbed our worries about the state of the planet, our joy at living on it, things we’ve seen, people we’ve loved and lost, all tied together into something, hopefully, beautiful and strange.”
The third-person atmospheric game will have players recording rapidly disappearing cultures, while contemplating what pushed them to the brink of extinction. Throughout their adventure, players will be introduced to new paths through meetings with a variety of original characters. Players can lose themselves in this poetic fantasy world when the visually-stunning Season comes to PlayStation 5 and Steam. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t have a release date just yet.
