The same studio that was behind Sea of Theives and Banjo-Kazooie, Rare, has released a much closer look at their upcoming project Everwild during the Xbox Games Showcase today. The trailer shows a much deeper concept within this strange and beautiful world like it will take players into an enchanted world, all within a trailer. Still, fans are wondering how this game works with the trailer making it a mystery.

This is not everyone’s first time witnessing Everwild, fans would remember that the first look was last November at Microsoft’s 2019 Inside Xbox presentation. The teaser which was also considered cinematic as well showing some interesting elements that were present in the recent trailer released today. It showed a society of hunter-gathers who explores a beautiful forest and where they would encounter frightening beasts.

The trailer that was showed today shows more humans that seem to be part of the same society. Showing the multiple characters that were revealed in the trailer gives an idea that the game is most likely a multiplayer game. The hunter-gatherers appear to be humans as well as wearing cloaked designs and earthy tones. It seems that the world these hunter-gatherers are in is much more magical and still very much mysterious as they continue to go on journeys together.

Even though the main gameplay loop of Everwild will be a mystery for many players within this time. The new trailer still gives fans a look deeper into this exploration-heavy game with multiple characters working together to explore this mythical world while using magic together. As of now, Rare has not announced any release date for Everwild but we do know that the game will be available on Xbox Series X, as well as Xbox Game Pass and Windows 10.
