Earlier this month, a leak by the Taiwanese Video Game Review Committee revealed that a brand new Crash Bandicoot game was in the works. The game was officially announced back on June 22nd and revealed that the game would allow gamers to play as three different characters with unique abilities, as well as the basic synopsis for the game. A few days ago, new information was revealed for the upcoming game, including the number of levels players will be able to enjoy, new methods of playing, and that the game will feature in-app purchases.

According to an email that players received from Gamestop, the new game will feature over 100 levels for players to enjoy, that’s 63 more levels than its predecessor, Crash Bandicoot 3 had. Not much more information has been revealed regarding the levels as of yet, as their names have yet to be revealed. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will also feature a number of different game modes, although it doesn’t fully spell out what these new methods of gaming will entail either. The last piece of information revealed in the email is that the game will have in-app purchases. This information can be supported by the fact that on the Microsoft Page, the price tag has a plus sign next to it, which implies that the game will feature in-app purchases. At the moment, not much more is known about what players will be able to enjoy when the game releases, but it is likely that more information will be revealed at a later date.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be released on the PlayStation 4, as well as on the Xbox One, and it will be released on October 2 2020.
