After it’s first beta release three months ago, West of Dead is finally getting another beta on February 14th, 2020. Voiced by Ron Perlman (who is most known for his voices in Hellboy and his role in Sons of Anarchy), West of Dead combines twin-stick shooter mechanics into one big mystical western shootout. The West of Dead Beta will run until February 24 and will eventually be released on Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC the spring of 2020
West of Dead was previously revealed at X019 and its first beta was included in the Project xCloud games library last November. It is not available currently, but people can try their hand at playing it the more traditional way by downloading it onto an Xbox or playing it on Steam (though Steam users will need a gamepad to play this game smoothly). Neither Microsoft nor the publisher Raw Fury has said for how long the beta will be around and avalible for download, but people have figured out that when the full game launches in the year, it will be avalible on Xbox Game Pass. Here is where you can watch the official trailer for West of Dead. The head of code and design for the game, Adam Langridge, tells us, “This is something that I learned from my time in R&D at Lionhead. We would start with a feeling that we wanted to explore, and we’d box prototype it.” As told on their official Twitter page:
You asked and we’re delivering. The gates of Purgatory will open February 14th for both Xbox One AND Steam users.

William Mason, the undead protagonist of this game, has to shoot his way through other undead Cowboys to make his way out of Purgatory, Wyoming.
“What we always do at the start of a project is we prototype – we prototype quite ruthlessly,”
