Hexy Studios, an independent gaming studio based in Poland, recently released another trailer for their newest project, Brassheart. While the studio name has been connected to boardgame titles, the team has been working on their upcoming video game debut since 2018.
Brassheart is a point-and-click style adventure game set in the 1920s of the alternative, dieselpunk realm inspired by the classic aesthetics of the genre. In this world, players will follow Pola Zagorska, a chipper young pilot on a search and rescue mission. Her father, Professor Zagorska, has been kidnapped by Valkiria, a “rebellious supermachine” of which he co-created.
Before his disappearance, however, the professor managed to leave a clue for his daughter, revealing the secrets to defeating the machine. She would need to find and assemble the Brassheart, a mysterious invention capable of affecting her will. With the help of her companion, Pascal, Pola will begin her quest to locate the pieces of the mechanical heart that were scattered around the world.
Experience the intriguing world of Brassheart and embark on a mission with Pola and Pascal as the duo set out to save her father from his very own creations. Be introduced to a fun cast of interesting and colorful characters including barons and countesses, spies, inventors, and criminals. Help Pola to gather clues and solve challenging puzzles with creative solutions.
The team shared a new gameplay trailer for the project. The new preview showcases footage of Pola and Pascal exploring various interactive locations, as well as a sneak peek at some of the puzzles players can expect. The team also shared new screenshots of the characters in-game.
