Devespresso Games is an independent design studio located in South Korea. In the last couple of years, the studio has released two survivor games, Cutting Glass and Recut, both belonging to a horror series titled The Coma. Today, however, the team celebrated the launch of their newest project, Vambrace: Cold Soul. The studio also revealed a new trailer to accompany the launch of the game.
Similar to previous works, the project is a narrative-driven survival game. However, instead of a seemingly abandoned high school, Vambrace: Cold Soul takes place in the fantasy city of Icenaire, amongst the midst of a war between humanity and an undead army. Since the King of Shades cursed the once great city, Icenaire has been plunged into an eternal winter. Those who have fallen are raised from the dead and continue on as wraiths. Those who managed to survive retreat underground. There they attempt to increase their ranks and prepare to face the growing army of undead up on the surface. Hope is nearly lost, until one day, a stranger enters the city bearing a power that could turn the tides of this war.
Experience a world where your choices may be the difference between victory and defeat. Vambrace: Cold Soul will include seven adventure-filled chapters, with a cast of unique and intriguing characters. Create and customize your own party, choosing from five races and ten classes of recruits. Prepare your team well for the journey ahead, or don’t and face the consequences.
Vambrace: Cold Soul is accessible through the Steam Store and playable for PC players (Windows and Mac). For a limited time, players wishing to purchase the game can take advantage of a 10% discount.
