Developer Square Enix really showed a lot of the game off at this year’s E3, and even has a portion of the game playable for gamers to test out at various gaming events around the world. The studio added quite a special incentive for players to play the games. By completing “certain requirements” within the Classic Kingdom games KHUX players will be able to unlock the Starlight Keyblade in KH3 when it release this upcoming January. This special weapon is not seen outside of the mobile game.
Players who complete these requirements will then receive a code for the Keyblade within the Kingdom Hearts Union X app, where they’ll be able to choose which console version to unlock the item in. This promotion not only gives fans some extra content to look forward to when the game releases, but is also a way to get new players involved with KHUX while they eagerly await for the release of the next installment within the series.
