Easily one of the most anticipated games of the year is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch. While it doesn’t launch until December 7, some fans won’t have to wait until then to try it out for themselves. Best Buy has announced that they have partnered up with Nintendo of America to bring the upcoming fighter to ten of their stores in the U.S. for a special Demo event.

The Demo event will come to two different cities each weekend over the next several weeks. The first event will be this Saturday and Sunday, September 8-9 and will be held in New York and San Jose respectively. The weekend after will be hosted in Los Angeles and Chicago, on September 15-16. The following events will take place in Dallas and Minneapolis for the 22-23, Atlanta and Denver for the 29-30, and lastly Miami and Seattle for October 6-7. All of the events will run from 10 am to 7 pm on Saturdays, and 11 am to 5 pm on Sundays. The demos will only be available at one Best Buy in each location, which you can check on the Best Buy Blog in the link above.
Other than E3 2018 and PAX West, this is the only way to really try out Super Smash Bros. Ultimate before it comes out. So if you’re in the area when the event takes place, then this is a great chance to give the game a try, and see why it was one of the biggest games to be revealed at E3 2018. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches on December 7 for the Nintendo Switch, and if you’re interested, there’s a Special Edition which includes the game, a steel book case, and a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller with the Smash logo on it, and will cost $140 dollars.
