Publisher Paradox Interactive releases Warlock 2: The Exiled, by the developers Ino-co, on April 10th. Steam users will be able to add Ino Co’s strategy game to their library, with pre-orders opening up around March 20th.
In Warlock: Master of Arcane, the great King of Ardania has gone with his army of men and monsters to conquer more kingdoms, but the King disappeared and was never seen or heard from again. Great chaos broke out in Ardania and the gods made an offer that the wars must end and Ardania be under one ruler once more after 74 years of war and the Kings disappearance. The Great Mages had to determine who among them would become the next Great Ruler. The world has to been shattered by one of the Great Mages of Ardania who betrayed the rest of the council, and you, the child of the king, have been exiled to one of the many shards. You come into Warlock 2: The Exiled, where it’s time to return to Ardania and battle through the shattered realms occupied by other exiles, hostile Mages and creatures. Once back in Ardania you will have to face against the Four Vicars of the United One to reclaim your home.
Warlock 2: The Exiled is a turn-based strategy game. Rival against Great Mages with over 150 spells, hire heroes and lead your armies into fierce battles, hoard hexagonal spaces on your conquest by using cunning negotiation and faith. You will have a choice of six different races and also several kinds of summonable creatures, ranging from giant rats to “werewolves with hats on them.” Challenge in either single player or multiplayer as you deploy your strategies in the Master of the Arcane mode or take on Exile story mode, as you focus on taking revenge on those that exiled you from Ardania.
