During E3 in 2017, Rebellion gifted their audience with a teaser trailer of their 1930’s style survival game Strange Brigade. The game takes players onto the abandoned ancient grounds of Egypt where four fearless adventures go head to head against the mummified minions of the Witch Queen Seteki. However, zombies are only one of the fatal obstacles that the bold group will have to encounter. With that said, the creators of the game are “thrilled to announce that you can join the Strange Brigade on their adventures this August 28th.”
For 4,000 years, an era of brutality made itself home on the ancient Egyptian lands, but its cruel history had been purposefully wiped out until the monstrous Queen Seteki was awoken from her tomb and brought back life to the barbaric society. A band of four heroes have enlisted themselves with the duty to stop the sinister Seteki by outsmarting numerous traps, deciphering challenging puzzles, and all while blasting and punching through the bloodthirsty undead. Players have the option to bravely take on the zombies alone or to assemble a formidable team for some intense cooperative action.
As of today, players can pre-order Strange Brigade and expect some valuable treasures to come with a copy. Every pre-order will include a Secret Service Weapons Pack that consists of a Gehrig-Delgane S1 rifle, a Wilkers & White P19 pistol, and a Stoudenmire 960 submachine gun. For those who are daring enough to upgrade and order the Digital Deluxe Edition, they will be prized with a season pass along with the game and its free content. Lastly, die-hard fans can obtain numerous collectibles with Strange Brigade’s Collector’s Edition that “includes a limited edition steelbook, hardback art book, and the Strange Brigade’s own airship for you to build.” This pack will additionally contain Strange Brigade boxed edition for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only and an exclusive suitcase design and sleeve.
