Don’t Fret, Scary Kid Studios’ upcoming musical horror game, with a currently unknown release date, released a winter trailer for the game.
Opening with a bang, it starts off with a Vhs camera or something similar recording the conquest of the “composition chamber” human scientists and their task force are pioneering this experience, trying to break down the door. Unfortunately, they manage to open the door releasing a horror unto themselves, with a giant bipedal tv headed creature crawling out and attacking the task force and running to the scientist recording the entire expedition. It grabs him and the screen turns dark, through bold letters, we’re told “THEY WANT YOUR TALENT.” Then the monstrous tv head grabs the camera off the presumably dead body for who knows what.
We then enter a first person view as the protagonist, carrying a tray of mini guitar plushies, wanders around a foggy darkened building. Next a lady with a grotesque appearance ( multiple guitar picks seem to be pushed into her head, around her left eye and mouth, each with bloody remnants) mocks you. Then in quick succession a monstrous clown type creature strangles you. Before a giant rock, in a burning fire with a vial hung on it, guarded by not one but two large forests hits the screen, there’s a massive story behind all the secrecy but it’ll be a while until we can delve further. Holding a “DANGER” meter, our protagonist runs away from the previous tv head, a man get absorbed into another giant orb and the protagonist who’s called “Brett” is told to “RUN,””HIDE,” and “SURVIVE” from the flaming forests guarding the rock, the tv head monster. A new skull headed creature roars at the protagonist, before screaming in pain as the trailer tell us “She knows you’re here.” There’s a nice reveal at the end that Don’t Fret will be coming later this winter, not next year or further on! It’ll come to PS5, Xbox, and Steam.
