An official announcement trailer was dropped earlier today for a new online co-op game, Last Couriers. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting, where the players main goal is to enter various infected Zones to collect a variety of loot. However, their loot attracts enemies that cannot be permanently killed, proving extracting out of these Zones to be a difficult task.

Infected Zones will have anomalous hogweed for players to harvest and turn into energy batteries. These batteries are used to power the teleportation machine, firing it up will start the extraction countdown. It is the player’s main goal to survive while the countdown is active and make it to the portal on time.

The hogweed that players collect is what attracts infected enemies, known as the Faceless, to them. In order to escape them, players must get creative. The faceless can be stunned, put to sleep, or drawn away by other teammates. Zones will also have additional loot, the anomalies that can fetch a hirer price if players can catch them.

The announcement trailer, reveals the type of environment that players can expect. Zones are contaminated with purple grass and anomalies can be dragged into the extraction zone to earn profit. Though it is much easier for players to knock them out and drag them to the extraction area.

Aside from hogweed, players will be able to collect a variety of items from infected Zones. These include hazard barrels, books, wheels, and a variety of items that help clean up the zone while earning players money.

Last Couriers is set to release sometime in 2026, though no official date has been revealed. The game is meant to be chaotic fun with a variety of hat cosmetics for players to customize their characters. Players interested in the game can wishlist it now via Steam.
