Neowiz may have provided the first major clue about its next Lies of P project after filing a trademark application for “Wonders of O” in Europe. The application was filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) on September 10, 2026, covering video game software and related entertainment services. The application is currently under examination, meaning the trademark has not yet been formally registered.

The name has immediately drawn attention because Neowiz is already developing a sequel to Lies of P, and the “O” in “Wonders of O” naturally suggests The Wizard of Oz. The connection is especially intriguing because the original Lies of P ended with a post-credits scene widely interpreted as teasing Dorothy and a possible expansion of the game’s reimagined fairy-tale universe. However, Neowiz has not officially confirmed that “Wonders of O” is the title of the Lies of P sequel, nor has it announced an Oz-based setting for the game. The company’s investor materials currently identify the project simply as “Lies of P Sequel,” with the Q2 2026 materials listing it as a souls-like RPG in the vertical-slice stage.

That makes the new trademark more interesting rather than less. The sequel is already confirmed to be in development, so the filing could represent the first public clue about its eventual title or creative direction. The apparent Oz connection would also fit the approach Neowiz took with Lies of P. The 2023 action RPG reimagined Carlo Collodi’s The Adventures of Pinocchio as a dark, gothic souls-like. A project inspired by The Wizard of Oz could similarly allow Neowiz to reinterpret another familiar literary world through the same darker lens.

Still, the trademark alone does not establish that “Wonders of O” belongs to the sequel. Companies can file trademarks for projects that change direction, are never released, or have uses unrelated to the games that fans associate with them. For now, the evidence consists of three pieces: Neowiz has confirmed a Lies of P sequel, the original game contained an apparent Dorothy tease, and Neowiz has now filed the “Wonders of O” trademark for game-related products and services. Together, they make an Oz connection plausible—but not yet official.

Until Neowiz announces the project itself, “Wonders of O” should be treated as a possible title and a tantalizing clue, rather than a confirmed sequel reveal.
