Players looking for a relaxing wilderness game don’t have to look far as Wombat Brawler is developing a pixel graphic game where they can forage, hunt, and craft their dream cabin in the woods. Wild n Chill has no set release date, but here is what players should know about this cozy cabin adventure.

The game features 11 unique regions, over 40 animal species, and over 20 fish species to discover. There are also some hermits living out in the wilderness that players can trade supplies with to potentially obtain special items. If they bring the right items, of course.

It is up to the players to decide how they want to live off the land. They can focus on foraging berries, fishing, or hunting down game. For those interested in hunting, there are traps players can craft along with game to track.

A trusty dog will be at the players side, helping them retrieve their hunts and warning them about danger nearby. Although the game is meant to be a relaxing experience, players should still watch out for wolves and bears that won’t be afraid to let themselves be known. Players can also choose to take on this adventure solo or with up to 4 friends!

In terms of crafting, players can create shelters, food storage, sheds, cabins, and smokehouses. As players explore deeper into the wilds, they will uncover new build styles and crafting recipes sure to help make their dream cabin come to life.

Earlier today, Wombat Brawler posted a short Demo Trailer that showcases the games UI, some crafting mechanics, and the player’s trusty dog. The demo is available for PC players via Steam, so players can check it out and wishlist the game. Wild n Chill is also planned to have a Nintendo Switch version, though more news on that will be announced later.
