Brigada Games’ Quarantine Zone: The Last Check made waves when it was first released to PC earlier this year. Between the numerous online personalities streaming this and the average gamers enjoying the humorous take on a zombie checkpoint, it comes to no surprise it has just recently been released on XBOX.

Quarantine Zone: The Last Check puts you in an integral role in its universe: you are in charge of checking each person who seeks refuge in the quarantine zone, and your choices could result in an outbreak within the safe walls.

By using high-tech tools, you will scan every individual who shows up at the gates of your compound. If they seem safe from infection, they can move along to the living block, but if they show symptoms of being infected, their fate is in your hands. You can choose to send the seemingly infected to a special area to get observed or to the lab for additional screening. Those who are without question infected can be eliminated to ensure the safety of everyone.

Much like a TSA agent, you will also have to check the belongings of those who are trying to come in. Here, items deemed unsafe for the other survivors can be confiscated, and rare collectables can be found.

Your responsibilities don’t end here, either. Along with the important job of scanning survivors for infection, you must provide for those within the walls. Water, food, power, medicine, and other necessities are completely in your hands as well. Everyone is relying on you to keep them safe and provided for.

Even the best workers at the checkpoint will come face to face with issues. If you can sort out the infected from the safe accurately, that doesn’t save you from a breach that can overrun your compound. If you make a mistake and let just one infected person into the living block, they will wreak havoc.
