Relic Entertainment has announced that Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand will launch for PC via Steam on July 29, 2026. The standalone strategy game features roguelite wave-defense gameplay and can be played alone or in two-player online co-op.
The game adapts the signature tactical combat of Company of Heroes 3 into a pure survival experience. Departing from traditional campaigns or standard multiplayer matches, the core loop challenges players to defend against relentless enemy waves, upgrade their forces between rounds, and fight to survive the entire run. Each run is made up of 12 waves, with enemies growing stronger as the match continues. Players will face boss units, battlefield events, and changing combat conditions across the run. An Endless Mode will also be included for players who want to continue past the standard wave structure.

Players can choose from four factions: US Forces, Wehrmacht, British Forces, and Deutsches Afrikakorps. Each faction has its own progression tree, with perks and abilities that unlock between runs. During battles, players can also choose randomized units or abilities after each wave, allowing each attempt to develop differently. Final Stand will include five battlegrounds designed for wave-defense play. Relic is also including 36 boss units, 18 dynamic in-game events, eight difficulty levels, and four unlockable premium cosmetic skin packs, with one skin pack tied to each faction.

The announcement comes during the franchise’s 20th anniversary year. Relic also recently announced Company of Heroes: Definitive Edition, a modernized version of the original Company of Heroes planned for PC in fall 2026. The original game first launched in 2006, while Company of Heroes 3 launched in 2023. Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand does not require players to own Company of Heroes 3 or any previous game in the series. The game will be priced at $29.99. Players who already own Company of Heroes 3 will receive a 20 percent discount, while a 10 percent launch discount will also be available during the launch period.
