GPTRACK50 has released a second trailer for Stupid Never Dies, confirming that the studio’s single-player 3D action RPG is planned for release in fall 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. A press release also provides additional information.
The new trailer focuses on Davy, the zombie protagonist, and the abilities he uses while exploring the game’s monster-ruled dungeon. Stupid Never Dies takes place after the Great War, when humanity has nearly disappeared and monsters have taken over. Davy, a timid zombie near the bottom of that world’s social order, finds Julia, a human college student who died inside a shopping mall freezer. His attempt to bring her back to life sends him into the dungeon with help from Dr. Frank, a researcher whose own goals overlap with Davy’s journey.
Combat revolves areound Style Eat, a system where Davy gains new forms by consuming monster cores. The game includes 11 Styles in total: Zombie, Werewolf, Harpy, Golem, Vampire, Will-o’-the-Wisp, Cyclops, Snow Fairy, Merfolk, Lich, and Demon. Each one changes how Davy moves and fights, giving players different ways to approach enemies depending on the form being used. There’s also Body Hack, which lets players modify Davy with Overtech gear. Equipment can be attached to parts of his body, including his head, arms, and legs, adding weapons and tools that continue to matter even when he changes Styles. Players can also utilize Davy Burst, a temporary power-up built by landing attacks and meeting combat conditions during battle.
The new details also introduce several characters tied to Davy’s base and progression. Bessie is a biker zombie who brings Davy back from the dungeon and is connected to Bessie Burger, where Zombie Skills and rarity levels can be unlocked. Goyle, a stone statue monster, works from the Security Room and provides dungeon analytics. Acelino, a Chihuahua man who assists Dr. Frank, handles Body Hack upgrades through the tattoo shop Ink on the Brain.
Boss characters Afleet and Wyvern were also shown as enemies tied to KOM, the King of Monsters. Additional characters revealed include Bob Dullahan and Phoenix Zaza Hotfeathers.
The game is available to wishlist now on Steam.
