With Season 2 of Zenless Zone Zero officially coming to an end, we look towards what comes next, or in this case, we look to the sky as the next destination is the flying city of Roscaelifer. Update 3.0 is here, and with it, the beginning of a new season an all-new map in the shape of Roscaelifer, the city ruled by the mysterious lady Sunbringer, new agents in the form of anomaly agent Velina, the brand new wind agent, Norma, a fire stunner, and last but certainly not least, Pyrois the free S-rank agent that is actually the proxy twin you chose at the beginning of the game. We also get a glimpse of the new story, which is gearing up for some big reveals and so much more in 3.0. This is a new beginning, and all this is coming on June 17 to mobile, PC, and consoles.

So what is coming in 3.0? Well, with every new patch, we get a set of new characters, and for this one, we get the first wind anomaly, Velina, and her design and combat are interesting as she wields fans as weapons. She will also be getting a skin that you can purchase. Running alongside her is the first rerun of Ye Shunguang. And in the second half, we will be getting a new fire stunner, Norma, and her weapon. Running alongside her is the rerun of Sunna. This patch is an interesting one, as we will be getting a free S-rank character for playing the story in the form of Pyrois. The proxy twins, Belle and Wise, will also be getting new skins for the season, so make sure to play the story for new drip and a free agent.

The story for 3.0 is that a stranger in new lands, as we will be visiting for the first time, the city of Roscaelifer, which is ruled by the void hunter Lady Sunbringer, who looks to be split into three different Sunbringers, so that’s gonna be interesting to learn about since Lady Sunbringer should be 100 years old at this point. We will also be dealing with the fallout from 2.8, which, in turn, allows us to gain Pyrois. Along with 3.0, there will be various events running so you can earn more polychromes for this patch, agents, or future ones, along with a free ten pull for logging on through the first week of the patch. As the anniversary of the game is in July, expect 3.1 to be the biggest patch of the year as Zenless Zone Zero turns 2 years old.

Zenless Zone Zero 3.0 “A Sleepwalker’s Confession” is the beginning of a new season for the game. Whether you liked or hated season 2, it has laid the groundwork for what’s to come. And the devs themselves have said they plan to continue improving the game through updates to the world and UI, and buffs to characters that have fallen behind. With the anniversary on the horizon, Zenless Zone Zero continues to expand. Even though it’s considered the black sheep of Hoyoverse games, it’s still proving its one of the best on the market through its story and characters, and this season will be no different. Version 3.0 will go live on June 17 for console, PC, and mobile, so look out as we’re headed for the city in the skies. And remember to heed Hollow’s call proxies.
