Best Buy affiliates have gotten a new email detailing that Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will go live with a pre-order campaign that runs from May 18-21. This comes from YouTuber Frogboyx1gaming, who received the email durig a live stream. Frogboyx1gaming appeared surprised to have gotten the email but has been open to sharing images and photos to back up the claim.
Other affiliates have also confirmed that they too have received the email.
Maybe a crazy theory, but I feel like that GTA 6 Best Buy email was just scheduled at the wrong time.
Was probably meant to go live later today. Right date, wrong time. I’ve made that mistake before. Could bode well for today!

The supposed pre-order date has led many to speculate that a new trailer is coming soon. Trailer 2 came out over a year ago. The first official trailer came out three years ago.

Whether or not this is true remains to be seen. Regardless, Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two previously said that marketing for GTA VI will begin in the Summer ahead of the November release date.
One question on everyone’s mind besides the release date is the price for Grand Theft Auto VI. A Bank of America analyst suggested that the price should be raised to $80 for the benefit of the entire industry. Others like securities stock analyst Omar Dessouky argues that selling something like Grand Theft Auto VI for the now-standard $70 price will negatively impact other games looking to raise their own prices to become more sustainable.
Epyllion analyst Mattew Ball said last year claimed that there was “hope” among figures in the games industry that GTA VI will cost $100, so that other companies could raise their default prices as well, with inflation and the rising costs of AAA development.
