Archosaur Games has revealed Silent Whispers, a free-to-play romance game the publisher is calling a cinematic love adventure. Development is being handled by VVANNA STUDIO. The Unreal Engine 5 project is heading to PC, iOS, and Android, with pre-registration currently live. No release date has been shared.
Silent Whispers takes place in the City of Fading Light, an imagined urban setting which features cafes, aerial stations, and Ferris wheels. The place is offered as somewhere the lost can take shelter, as long as the player can “survive” it. As illusion and reality begin to overlap, the player is pulled into a cycle of survival scenarios, with each choice flowing into the next and the threat of betrayal ever looming.
Three romanceable characters have been revealed at launch. According to Archosaur, Alarik is introduced as a man at the very top of the world’s hierarchy who is indifferent to its rules. Theron is described as a shadow that disregards order, a “prisoner of fate” with a sharp blade. Valen “blossoms” deep in ice and snow and has a more gentle, pure aesthetic compared to the other two.
The listed features include a Romance Bound by Fate, cinematic 4K visuals rendered in Unreal Engine 5, intimate first-person interactions, freeform urban exploration, and a Time Loop Narrative the studio frames as a wager: stake everything on the choices you make for your future self. Two trailers accompanied the announcement, a world premiere titled “A Whisper Away From a Love That’s Real” and a gameplay tech demo, both released in English and Japanese.
Archosaur Games’ previous catalog leans on the mobile side, with Dragon Raja and Life Makeover among its better-known titles. The studio has advertised the Unreal Engine 5 build as central to Silent Whispers‘ visual approach throughout the marketing.
Pre-registration is live now on the official website.
