Microsoft has announced the return of Xbox Games Showcase, the next Direct showcase, and the return of Xbox FanFest in celebration of Xbox’s 25th Anniversary.

Two shows back-to-back. One epic day of games.

Xbox Games Showcase 2026 will air on Sunday, June 7, at 1 am PT / 1 pm ET / 6 pm UK. The Showcase will present first gameplay looks and huge news on upcoming titles from Microsoft’s first-party studios across the Xbox family, as well as third-party partners around the globe – from the biggest franchises to soon-to-be indie darlings.

The Direct immediately afterwards will have The Coalition deep diving on the next entry in the beloved Gears of War franchise, Gears of War: E-Day. E-Day takes us to the beginning, showcasing the start of Emergence Day. In the Gears of War: E-Day Direct, The Coalition will offer new details, gameplay, and insights into the hugely anticipated origin story to the Gears of War saga.

The return of Xbox FanFest will include a look back at the last 25 years of Xbox, alongside a forward view of what’s next. Anyone interested can enter for a chance to win free tickets and attend. It is open only to legal U.S. residents 18+. The chance ends on April 12, 2026.

The double feature can be viewed through a variety of outlets such as YouTube, Twitch, the Xbox ASL channel on Twitch, and Facebook, in over 40 languages, as well as American Sign Language, British Sign Language, and English Audio Descriptions.
