Annapurna Interactive and Beethoven & Dinosaur have revealed that their next game, Mixtape, the narrative-driven adventure game set to the soundtrack of a generation, is set to release later this year on May 7, 2026. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XS, Xbox Game Pass, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Mixtape follows three high school friends on their last night of adventure, set to the soundtrack of a generation. En route to their final party together, a perfectly curated playlist draws the trio into dreamlike reenactments of their formative memories.

Beethoven and Dinosaur, developers of the BAFTA award-winning game The Artful Escape, said that Mixtape draws inspiration from classic coming-of-age movies, bringing together nostalgic aimlessness, mischief, music, the highs and lows of adolescence, and the bittersweet feelings brought about by growth, transformation, and moving on.

Mixtape’s soundtrack will feature music from iconic artists such as DEVO, Roxy Music, Lush, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, and The Cure.
