Since Grand Theft Auto Online launched in 2013 it has been a massive success for Rockstar Games. The game has become one of if not the most popular online services titles of all-time. With fans of the series awaiting for the new GTA VI that was announced over two years ago to release in early 2025, has since been delayed til November 19, 2026. This update for GTA V should keep fans at bay by giving them a whole bunch of content for this holiday season.

Every year since GTA Online debuted Rockstar has consistently released more content for fans to enjoy. The newest content comes in “A Safehouse in the Hills” update. According to the Rockstar Website the free content update is available for all players. This update offers players new missions, luxury estates, luxury vehicles and a returning fan favorite protagonist from the story, Michael De Santa voice acted by Ned Luke.

The highly anticipated feature of this update introduces the “Prix Luxury Real Estate”, where players can purchase any of the game’s three new mansions. The prices of these luxury estates varies depending on the customization that the player decides. However the base cost ranges from $11.5 million, $12.2 million and $12.8 million.

Although mansions are not the only thing showcased within this update will introduce new vehicles referred to as the Vapid FMJ MK V, but only subscribers to GTA+ will have access to it in the first week after release. After that the vehicle will be available for all players of the game.

Another highly anticipated feature that was added to this update was the Mission Creator feature which is available on all versions of the game. The Mission Creator allows players to create and designing their own missions using in game mechanic, custom objectives and placeable actors.

Although Grand Theft Auto VI is planned to launch next year, but nothing is certain and his could be the last major update that fans will see come to Grand Theft Auto V. The game has had very prosperous life selling more than 220 million units as of November 2025, per Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick. The popularity of Grand Theft Auto V is still concurrent with the game today as the game right now on SteamDB alone sees over 95,000 players currently enjoying the new update.
