The game launched into Early Access last year and has seen several updates. Now, Evil Empire has revealed that the game is set to hit 1.0 and in essence, officially release. The Rogue Prince of Persia 1.0 is set to launch in August.

Evil Empire wrote “yes that’s right, 1.0 is fast approaching so our Early Access journey with you will soon be over. We’ll get all emotional on the day, but let’s just say for now that we are very , very grateful for everyone who supported us through this crazy intense Early Access, in which the game has evolved so much! <3”
that 1.0 will bring in two biomes, the final boss, and the third act of the story, which will have a true ending to the game where players will finally meet the Prince’s father, the King of Persia.
Following the announcement of 1.0’s launch, Evil Empire has released the last update for the game before the 1.0 launch. Update 15 for The Rogue Prince of Persia brings in several new features and more reworked content and mechanics.
When players unlock a certain number of items (weapons, tools, and medallions) they’ll unlock the associated Arsenal that allows players to ban items from the “loot table” so they won’t appear during runs. A tutorials compendium will be added to the pause menu that will allow players to revisit tutorials. Story objectives will be added to the Mind Map and during loading screens. These will be High Level objectives based on what players already know. Legends will be added to both maps to help players with the amount of information and icons that are a part of the mini and world maps. These can be toggled on and off.
Some Awakening Stones are being reworked. New stones will be added around Death Defiance. Missing quests have been added. Weapon and Tool quests have been reworked. Bosses last quests are reworked to not be hitless. Quest requirement values have been overall reduced. There will also be increased rewards. Medallions will no longer be destroyed.
