A gameplay trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn, was released on Friday June 13, 2025. The game, which is expected to be released sometime later this year, is being developed by Bloober Team, and published by Bloober Team SA. Cronos: The New Dawn is expected to be available on the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. The Polish videogame developer, Bloober Team, has a reputation of specializing in horror games, with some of their most notable work coming in the form of Blair Witch, Silent Hill 2, and Layers of Fear. It should be to no surprise then that Cronos: The New Dawn, is said to be a survival horror-style game. The game will be operating in the third-person perspective, and is said to be a story-rich, combat-filled game, with obviously strong themes of horror throughout. Regarding the atmosphere they are trying to create for gamers, Bloober Team SA said:
Survive a brutal future, dive back in time, and stop nightmarish creatures from merging into unstoppable abominations.
Imagine being trapped in a room with a monstrous enemy, growing stronger and more terrifying with every corpse it consumes.

Looking at what is featured in the trailer, there is clearly a dystopian future atmosphere Bloober Team is looking to create for the players, with the world it is set in looking like it is in ruins. The main enemies that seem to be attacking the main character are zombie-like creatures, though it is not clear that they are zombies. Also in the trailer is what looks to potentially be a boss battle, with one of the zombie-like creatures mutating and growing as the main character tries to kill it. Overall, this reveal trailer got a very positive reception by gamers in general, with most that saw the trailer on social media saying that they look forward to the release of Cronos: The New Dawn.
