Stellar Blade, developed by SHIFT UP, is officially released on PC through Steam for PC players to enjoy. The official Steam launch took place on June 11th, and so far players are leaving overwhelmingly positive reviews as of right now. There is also a free demo version for players to try out as well. Players who are interested in the game can also play Stellar Blade on PlayStation 5.

The cinematic trailer shows the main character EVE battling against the enemy creatures called Naytiba. There are more previews of different characters, some gameplay footage, as well as some views of the landscape and scenery.

Stellar Blade is a third-person action game that is melee-based. Earth has been abandoned, and the remaining people that once lived on Earth have fled to a Colony in outer space. EVE arrives on Earth with a mission on her hands: reclaim Earth from the Naytiba and save humanity. As EVE is on Earth, she unravels the mysteries of the past, she realizes that saving Earth will be more complicated than how it seemed.

The official Steam page description describes the gameplay like this, “Engage in blisteringly fast combat as you slash a path through the remnants of Earth. Unleash graceful yet brutal attacking combos, unlock new moves and weapon upgrades, and face epic boss encounters that will challenge both brain and brawn in equal measure.”

With the new release of the PC version of Stellar Blade, comes new content and features. In Boss Challenge Mode, players can test their strength against warrior Mann, the leader of the Sentinels. The developers also added Chinese and Japanese voice-over and lip-sync as well. Lastly for newly added content, the developers have added 25 new costumes.

For the new PC features, there is ultrawide monitor support, optimized graphics, texture pack support, controller and keyboard support, and unlocked frame rates where players can “unleash the full fury of EVE’s electrifying fighting style with support for high frame rates and enhanced visual fluidity.”
