In the blog post, Activision Blizzard first announced that Overwatch 2 will be packed with new changes to the PvP experience that players have not seen before. According to them, “it’s going to take more than a blog or a developer update to let you know what we have coming this year. So, on Wednesday, February 12, tune into our YouTube and Twitch channels for a new livestream event, Overwatch 2 Spotlight!”
Blizzard also talked about how they will be discussing brand new changes in how the game is played, and players will also get a glimpse at new heroes as well as new maps. Players will also see more upcoming content that is coming this February and beyond that.
Blizzard also announced that they are inviting dozens of Overwatch 2 Content Creators to Blizzard Entertainment in Irvine to get a hands-on experience on the new gameplay that players can see in Overwatch Spotlight. On top of that, players who watch the livestream on February 12th will also be able to attain an exclusive drop- the Lucio Cyber DJ Legendary Skin. In order for players to obtain the Lucio Legendary Skin, they would need to link their Twitch or YouTube account to their battle.net account, and they linked instructions on how to do that.
Lastly, Blizzard ended the bog with this, “We can’t wait to have you join us for Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12 at 10 AM PT. Let’s make a great game!”
