My Arcade, an online store specializing in retro gaming tech, have recently announced new Gamestation handheld collections officially licensed by Atari. Their new products are the Atari Gamestation Go and the Atari Gamestation Mega, both with over 200 games and both set to release later in 2025. For those of you who want to relive your arcade glory days (or more likely those of you who were born in the Playstation 2/3 era and don’t know what an Atari is but would like to at least try it out) there are some all time classics here such as Centipede: Recharged, Balls of Steel Pinball, Berzerk, Frenzy, and PAC-MAN among other classics from the era.
The Atari Gamestation Go is a handheld similar in size and shape to a Steamdeck with a rechargeable battery with a fantastic library of games including the aforementioned classics. It’ll be sold for $149.99.
For those who want a bigger platform to game on there’s the Atari Gamestation Mega. Like the name suggests it doesn’t “Go” like the previous model, instead opting for a stationary arcade cabinet, miniaturized so that it can fit on a tabletop. The larger size naturally leads to a larger display and brings the nostalgic joystick layout that you can’t find on the handheld platform. The Atari Gamestation Mega will sell for $249.99.
Also featured are a gamepad ($49.99) and a joystick ($69.99) for those of you who want to enhance your experience with the Gamestation Go or the Gamestation Mega.
