Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club the next surprise installment in the Famicom Detective Series since 1997. Players take the role of an assistant private investigator from the Utsugi Detective Agency, who is assigned the murder of a student.
Strangely enough, the murder eerily mirrors a series of unsolved murders 18 years ago by Emio, the Smiling man.
In order to discover the truth behind the student’s death, players must investigate the wide cast of characters surrounding the murder to see who is genuine and who is keeping secrets.
Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club launches on August 29 for the Nintendo Switch. For more information on Emio, head over to Nintendo’s official website.
