Milestone has crafted the official video game of MotoGP, named MotoGP24.It’s a game that rushes you into the world of motorcycle racing and will berelease on May 02.
The game is a simulation based on the highest class of motorcycle road racing events. It features official riders and tracks from the 2024 season, sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme, and held on road circuits.
The game provides an immersive racing experience, mirroring real-life emotions, and continuously integrates highly requested features from the community. After introducing Dynamic Weather and Flag-to-Flag races last year, MotoGP24 will further enhance player engagement, bringing them even closer to the excitement of real competitions.
One of the most intriguing developments is Milestone’s dedication to enhancing every fan’s gaming experience, exemplified by the introduction of the adaptive difficulty system. This innovative feature dynamically adjusts opponents’ difficulty based on each player’s performance, ensuring tailored challenges for all skill levels, as highlighted by Bleeding Cool. The AI has been honed to emulate real riders’ strategies, with former World Champions exhibiting patience for strategic overtakes and rookies eager to showcase their skills. Furthermore, the game’s physics have been refined, introducing an electronic tuning system to optimize cornering and power delivery, as well as revamped tire management to maintain performance across different compounds and tracks while preserving each tire’s unique characteristics
As reported by Bleeding Cool, MotoGP 24 features an online multiplayer mode called LiveGP Championships. This mode targets competitive players, featuring seasons comprising a defined number of LiveGPs. Competitors will vie to ascend the championship leaderboard by accruing points in each LiveGP event they engage in.
Moreover, cross-play functionality will be accessible, permitting fans to compete across platforms and console generations from the game’s inception. Furthermore, the PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam editions will offer confirmed support for a 2-player local split-screen mode, enabling players to compete alongside friends.
MotoGP24 will be available on May 2, 2024, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
