DC Universe Online will be coming to Xbox One consoles this spring as announced today by developer Daybreak Games.
The announcement came during Kinda Funny Games‘ flagship show, Colin & Greg Live, which was filmed at the Daybreak studio. The stream celebrated the five year anniversary of the free-to-play MMORPG launching on PC and Playstation 3 (The Playstation 4 version released in 2013). Various members of the studio appeared on the stream during the announcement and later the studio confirmed the news on the official DCUO Twitter.

Details on the port were scarce minus that the game would be arriving in spring and the ability to transfer current characters from other platforms to Xbox One “probably” won’t be possible.
This marks the first time a Daybreak game will be available on an Xbox platform. The studio – formerly known as Sony Online Entertainment – branched off from Sony to go independent in February 2015. The studio announced their intentions to create games for Xbox platforms after their departure.
