Despite the next Tomb Raider game being years away, the series developer Crystal Dynamics announced the latest news from the State of Unreal 2022 presentation, including its partner in Tomb Raider’s next entry. According to the press release, Amazon Games will be publishing the fourth installment in the Tomb Raider reboot with the new Unreal Engine 5. The unnamed title is said to be released globally and multi-platform underneath the full support of Amazon Games, the latest effort in Amazon’s entry into the AAA sphere. Amazon Games’ other upcoming titles include Lost Ark from Smilegate RPG and Blue Protocol from Bandai Namco. The upcoming Tomb Raider title will be Amazon Games’ first single-player narrative title and the”…most expansive Tomb Raider game to date.”

VP of Amazon Christoph Hartmann and Studio Head of Crystal Dynamics Scot Amos both gave statements on the collaboration, sharing their excitement for the opportunity and the team that they gathered to make this game possible.
