Fortnite and Rocket League, two of the most well-known games on the market, have announced that they will be teaming up for a crossover. One of the most iconic Rocket League cars in the game, the Octane, will be available for players to use now that Fortnite has launched the v22.10 update.
Each of these games has become one of the most well-known on the market. Fortnite was released in 2017 while Rocket League has been available since its release in 2015.
Rocket League’s developer, Psyonix, is owned by Epic Games, which is the same company that developed and published Fortnite. As a result, the crossover between the two games is not too surprising since the collaboration is in-house.
Epic Games discussed the crossover in a blog post and confirmed that the car would operate very similarly to how it works in Rocket League. The car will have rocket boosters, jump and the ability to double jump, each of which is available in Rocket League. Another ability is one not available in Rocket League, which is the ability to fly. Although it will only be able to fly for very short periods of time, it will surely be beneficial to players who are looking to make a quick move.
Get ready to boost it, drive it, and fly it. The Rocket League Octane Spawner device arrives tomorrow in the v22.10 update.

Epic Games also released guidelines for a new island design contest. The island design contest is looking for players to create an island that helps the octane be used to its full potential.
Although there are some other changes to Fortnite in v22.10, the introduction of the octane to the game is the most significant. Fortnite is well known for the consistent updates to the game as they are consistently bringing more content to their players.
