The Legend Edition will feature an alternate cover:
That’s right – Kobe Bryant will be the cover athlete for the Legend Edition of NBA 2K17, as confirmed in April on the game’s website. Just a few months into retirement, it looks like Kobe will be featured heavily in the latest addition to the 2K franchise.
Last year, NBA 2K16 saw multiple cover athletes, as well as a special edition featuring an alternate Michael Jordan cover.
NBA 2k17 will also have a third edition, called Legend Edition Gold. For this $100 edition, players will receive in-game items such as shoes, virtual currency, and MyTEAM packs.
Players will be able to get their hands on NBA 2K17 on September 20.
