According to polygon, A new shaman hero was introduced today via Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, and it might just be the most special character to date; Morgl the Oracle is his name and being a murloc is his game. For players new to World of Warcraft, murlocs are fish people who operate in abundant groups, voicing their infamous and vexatious gargles. Typically, murlocs are linked with rush decks (when the player floods the board with these fish men to defeat their opponent).
Initially, Hearthstone heroes were offered as in-game purchases, but Morgl has taken another route. When players participate in Hearthstone’s new recruit-a-friend program, they will unlock Morgl as their main gift. Here is how it works: Use your Battle.net account to send an e-mail recruiting any friends who don’t already play Hearthstone.
When one of your friends joins the game and levels up to 20, Morgl will be unlocked on your account. Once four other friends that you invite reach level 20, you will be gifted a Classic card pack. The social aspect of this game seems to be involving more effort as players will continue to be rewarded.
In this game, the level 20 objective is the entirety of the level of all your classes. If you’re inviting a friend whose levels on all nine classes total up to 20, it won’t count. So make sure you know the fine print before you scramble to invite people.
Happy Recruiting.
