The Rogue One: Scarif DLC just recently dropped earlier this month for Star Wars: Battlefront to coincide with all the hype for the new Star Wars movie, and gamers are already reporting problems with it. Rogue One: Scarif is the last DLC pack to be released for Star Wars: Battlefront, and while the DLC brings in two new heroes, a new Infiltration game mode and a huge patch for the base game, its also brought in a larger list of bugs that’s been reported across all platforms.
One such bug causes players to lose access to previously purchased DLC. EA has cited a reissued license as the root of that problem and has already released a workaround for that particular bug. According to an article on GameSpot, other bugs persist, ranging from kills with the sonic imploder not registering, to an exploit in the U-Wing phase of the new Infiltration mission, to challenges resetting or not responding to in-game actions. Multiple users have even reported an issue in which the mission-critical U-Wing is marked as 10,000m away, making it impossible to reach and thus causing those particular rounds to continue endlessly.
So, if you’re on the fence on whether or not to purchase the new DLC, you might want to hold of until EA has fixed all these issues. And if you were unfortunate to have already paid for and downloaded it, at least you get to run around and shoot people as Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic and relive the glory that is the Rogue One movie.
